The Centre is situated on the ANU campus in Lennox House (Blocks E and F), a heritage listed building on Acton peninsular, at the edge of Lake Burley Griffin. Signs to the Australian National Museum will help guide you to the Acton Peninsular.
Getting there from Parkes Way
If you are coming along Parkes Way from the west (Belconnen or Tuggeranong), go though the tunnel and then exit onto Edinburgh Avenue. At Edinburgh Ave, turn right onto Lawson Crescent. At the next right on Lawson Crescent, turn onto Batchelor’s Lane, into the ANU. At the top of Batchelor’s Lane, turn left onto Lennox Crossing. The UPCCC carpark is on the left.
If you are coming along Parkes Way from the east (Morsehead Drive and Russell), exit Parkes Way just before the tunnel onto Edinburgh Avenue and turn left onto Lawson Crescent (and follow the instructions above).
Getting here from Commonwealth Avenue
Follow the turn-off to Parkes Way in Acton Park and instead of going onto Parkes Way, continue on the slip road up to Edinburgh Avenue and turn left onto Lawson Crescent (and follow the instructions above).
Getting there from the ANU
Go to Liversidge St, on the eastern side of the campus and then head south towards Lake Burley Griffin. Cross over Parkes Way until you reach the carpark on the left.
Parking and Entry
Car parking in available opposite Old Canberra House and the new JG Crawford Building, off Lennox Crossing. Follow the ramp down towards Lake Burley Griffin. The Uni Preschool is the building closest to the lake and shares this carpark with the Heritage Child Care Centre.
Getting there by Bus
ACTON bus number 3 runs along Lennox Crossing and there is a bus stop at Old Canberra House, just opposite the UPCCC car park.
